‘Dynasty’ Divas Evans And Collins Take To The Stage

WASHINGTON (November 29, 2006) — After years of semi-retirement, Linda Evans is trying something new with her `Dynasty’ co-star Joan Collins.

Evans is on the stage in Washington for the first time ever.

It’s easy to understand why it’s taken Linda Evans 64 years to do her first play, considering what happened in junior high drama class. Evans says she threw up every time she had to do something in front of the class.

Evans didn’t lose her lunch on opening night of the play “Legends,” but she nearly lost her mind. She says she came “as close to completely losing it” as she’s ever come in her life.

Sheis a lot more relaxed now, one month into her eight-month run. She says the love she feels from the audience helps her get over her stage fright.

Evans and her “Dynasty” nemesis Joan Collins co-star in the play that’s in Washington for the rest of this week.

Evans says `Dynasty’ fans go to see her and Joan Collins knowing that they hate each other in real life, even though they don’t.
