Emily Maynard Confirms Split With ‘Bachelor’ Brad Womack

Former “Bachelor” Brad Womack is a bachelor, once again.

Following persistent rumors and speculation, Emily Maynard – the woman Brad proposed to on the March season finale – is breaking her silence about the status of their relationship.

“We’re no longer engaged,” an emotional Emily told People after taping an interview, which will air on “The Bachelorette” on July 11.

The single mother told the mag she is speaking out to clear up “all the media speculation” in hopes of that she and daughter Ricki, 6, “can move on and get back to normal.”

Adding, “Just because we love each other doesn’t mean we’re right for each other.”

As for the reason behind the couple’s split, according to Brad, he’s to blame.

“The demise of our relationship was completely my fault,” he told the mag, after not agreeing to appear in the interview for the ABC reality series with Emily.
