Eminem Joins Rihanna On Stage For Staples Center Duet

Rihanna made her headlining debut in LA on Wednesday night with her “Last Girl On Earth” tour, but the singer didn’t come alone.

Eminem joined her on stage for a performance of their No. 1 single, “Love The Way You Lie,” sparking an eruption from the crowd at the surprise appearance.

Fans weren’t the only ones surprised — “Glee” stars Amber Riley, Jenna Ushkowitz, Kevin McHale and Chris Colfer were all in attendance as well, tweeting their shock at Em’s appearance.

“Omg Omg Omg! Eminem juss came out! AaaaaaaAah!!!!!” Amber Tweeted.

In fact, according to Amber, Chris wasn’t even sure who the guest was when he appeared on stage.

“Had fun singin with @IJennaUsh, dancing with @druidDUDE, and laughing at @chriscolfer askin who it was wit Ri on stage!” Amber wrote after the show.

Eminem and Rihanna have been together filming a video for the track in LA this week. On Wednesday, E! Online reported that Megan Fox was considering starring in the steamy video, which had already reportedly cast former “Lost” actor Dominic Monaghan.

The Staples Center performance marked the second live performance of the song – and the second in the venue, since Rihanna and Em debuted the song there during the E3 Expo in June.

In an interview with Access Hollywood on Wednesday, Rihanna herself said the LA performance might not be the last time the pair would share the stage; she said that she and the “Recovery” rapper plan to reprise their collaboration when the two happen to be in the same city over the course of the rest of her tour.

Rihanna’s “Last Girl on Earth” tour continues on Saturday at the Larado Energy Arena in Larado, Texas, with more North American dates to follow throughout July and August.
