Entourage: Jerry Ferrara Says Movie Will Be Like Show’s ‘Earlier Seasons’

When “Entourage” hits the big screen, Vinnie Chase and his crew will leave behind the show’s darker themes from the later seasons and return to more of a bro-centric storyline.

Jerry Ferrara, who played Turtle on the HBO series, stopped by Access Hollywood Live on Friday, where he dished on the project – and even dispelled some rumors.

“I can happily say [the deal for the movie] is done, we’re starting in January,” he told Billy Bush and Kit Hoover.

As for rumors of certain actors holding out for an “Aquaman”-sized paycheck, Jerry was quick to squash that notion.

”[There was] no hold out situation,” he explained. “No, nobody held out!”

Jerry remained quiet on the movie’s plot, but he did reveal that it will have a similar tone to the show’s first few seasons.

”[The movie will] throw it back to the earlier seasons,” he said, while speaking about the show’s darker storylines in the last few seasons. “The guys with the guys.”

The HBO series ended with the gang on their way to Paris for Vinnie’s wedding with Sophia (played by Alice Eve) and Ari on vacation in Italy contemplating a return to Hollywood – and the big screen story will continue there.

”[It will start] not far from where it left off,” he said, “From what I know.”

First up, catch Jerry in “Last Vegas,” which is in theaters now.
