Eric Bana’s ‘Funny People’ Sex Scenes Banned By Director

Judd Apatow’s new comedy, “Funny People,” features the director’s trademark obsession with racy humor and often-raunchy topics – but after casting Eric Bana to star opposite his wife Leslie Mann, Eric’s sex scene were mysteriously left out.

”[‘Funny People’] is not dark, hopefully it’s deeper than the other movies,” Judd told Access Hollywood’s Shaun Robinson Monday night at the film’s premiere in Hollywood. “Nobody gets waxed this time, but hopefully it’s just as fun as when we do wax people.”

“No sexy scenes with Eric Bana?” Shaun asked of the actor who stars opposite Judd’s real-life wife, Leslie.

“I left those out, I’m no fool!” Judd told Access with a laugh. “I have to follow that?!”

Leslie said Eric’s good looks lead to their sex scenes being nixed.

“My husband took one look at him and said, ‘I’m not letting you anywhere near him. No way!’” Leslie joked.

However, Eric’s lack of racy moments with Leslie did not go unnoticed by the Australian star.

”[Adam Sandler] got his sex scenes with my wife in the movie, and I got none with my wife in the movie,” Eric told Access. “It was the director’s wife, so you have the director’s wife, you have Adam, and I completely missed out on it.”
