In recent weeks, Eric Dane’s “Grey’s Anatomy” character, Dr. Mark Sloan, has gone from McSteamy to McDaddy to McGrampa, and now in real life, he’s finally showing off his first child, Billie Beatrice Dane.
“She’s beautiful,” Eric told the latest issue of Us Magazine, the outlet through which he’s debuting to the world his adorable 2-month-old baby girl, along with wife Rebecca Gayheart.
Eric posed shirtless, cradling his tiny tot as his wife looks over his shoulder for the magazine’s touching cover shoot.

“Childbirth is a miracle,” he told the mag. “And we’ve created this life.”
Eric explained that he was smitten with his baby from the second he saw her.
“The doctor gave her to her mom, and I was so … you know, I was obviously very emotional,” he said.
On “Grey’s,” Eric’s character is in total family mode, having recently found out he has a teenage daughter (who recently gave birth to his grandchild), and like Dr. Mark Sloan, the real-life Eric says he’s now all about family.
“It changes how you look at things and how you feel about things,” he said of having Billie. “I like to think of myself as an artist — but now I’m working for my kid. Now I’m a father. I’ve got a lunch pail, I go to work and I come home and I make sure my kid is taken care of, and I make sure my wife is take care of. “
