LOS ANGELES (October 5, 2006) — It’s dangerous being a one of the “Desperate Housewives.”
Eva Longoria, who plays saucy Gabrielle Solis on the ABC dramedy, reportedly was taken to the hospital after being injured on the set.
Spokesman Liza Anderson said Longoria slipped on one of the stairs coming out of her trailer yesterday. Anderson reports the actress’ ribs are “very bruised.”
The 31-year-old actress is expected to return to work as scheduled.
This is the second accident Longoria has had on the set.
In March of 2005, she was hit on the head during taping and taken to a hospital for treatment.
