Eva Longoria: It’s An Emotional Time On The ‘Desperate Housewives’ Set

Eva Longoria is months away from filming the series finale of “Desperate Housewives,” but she admitted just thinking about the end of the long running ABC drama makes her emotional.

“I can’t — you’re going to make me cry already,” Eva told AccessHollywood.com’s Laura Saltman when asked about how she expects to feel on the last day of taping. “I can’t even think about it. I mean, every episode that we’re shooting now is a little sad, because we’re like, ‘Oh, another scene of all of us in the woods, another scene of all of us playing poker.’ It’s all emotional — every episode is emotional for all of us.”

“Desperate Housewives” returns for its ninth and final season on Sunday at 9/8 C on ABC and as they prepare for the beginning of the end, Eva has so many memories she’s fond of.

One, however, stands out the most.

“My favorite moment will always be the pilot, the first episode. And kind of that time, too, because it was such madness,” she said. “We always have fond memories of that time, and I remember Helen Hunt telling me, ‘There’s nothing like the birth of a hit, so remember every moment… It’s rare, you know, and we kind of hit the lottery, so it’s bittersweet to me to be here and say goodbye.”
