Evanescence Grabs Top Spot On Album Charts

Rock rules this week’s album charts in the latest Verizon Wireless Access V CAST Music Moment.

Evanescence grabbed the top spot on the charts, selling 447,000 copies of “The Open Door,” Amy Lee and the boys’ follow-up to the stunning, multi-platinum “Fallen.”

The Killers finished in the second slot with 314,000 copies of “Sam’s Town” sold.

Bringing a little country to the mix, George Strait sold 232,000 of his new release, “It Just Comes Natural,” to grab the third spot on the charts.

Rounding out the top five this week are Tony Bennet’s “Duets: An American Classic” (128,000 sold) and Justin Timberlake’s “FutureSex/LoveSounds,” with 115,000 sold.
