“We are thrilled to be starting production and even more thrilled to be shooting in Mexico. Baja Studios has been home to some of the greatest ocean-set films in recent years and provides all the creative resources we need to begin this new chapter in the ‘Fear’ saga. We couldn’t be happier,” showrunner Dave Erickson said in a statement.

Season 2 will continue the journey of Madison (Kim Dickens), her boyfriend Travis (Cliff Curtis), her son Nick (Frank Dillane) and her daughter Alicia (Alycia Debnam-Carey), as well as Daniel (Ruben Blades) and his daughter Ofelia (Mercedes Mason). The show also includes Chris (Lorenzo James Henrie), who is Travis’ son, and the well-dressed man Nick met at the end of Season 1 – Strand (Colman Domingo).
