It may be the shortest month of the year, but there is no shortage of things to see and do. Here are a few to check out!
GAME ON!
The Olympics start next Friday and I am looking forward to my favorite winter sport, Figure Skating. I like any kind of skating… Women’s (Figure Skater Gracie Gold is pictured), Men’s, Pairs, Ice Dancing, etc. Of course, the real fun will be dissecting all the team uniforms – this is the stuff drinking games were built around! The Opening Ceremony of the XXII Olympics 2014 starts Friday February 7 on NBC.
FASHION! FASHION! FASHION!
New York Fashion Week kicks off Thursday February 6 with round- the-clock runway shows, fashion events and parties. From BCBG to Michael Kors, Marc Jacobs and Zac Posen, it’s a fashionista’s dream whether you are there in person, or watching online. Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week runs February 6-13.
CHEAP CHIC COLLAB:
It’s been a while since I waited outside a Target store at the crack of dawn to score good designer fashion at cheap prices and I can’t say I really missed the early morning wakeup call, but this month there’s a good reason to set your alarm because Peter Pilotto is the latest designer brand heading to Target! Designed by Peter Pilotto and Christopher De Vos, the label’s trademark colorful prints will be featured with this limited-edition clothing collection we can all afford! Available February 9.
SWEETS FOR YOUR SWEETIE:
Reminder, Valentine’s Day is this month, so don’t forget to honor the one you love! You don’t have to spend a lot of money on the usual suspects like flowers, chocolate and perfume, but that’s always nice! For busy moms, the best gifts are things like date night, cleaning up the house and babysitting, so she can go and have some much needed “Me time.”

“The Voice” returns, which means another season of style from the Coaches. Will we get rocker Adam Levine? Or the sweater-wearing, slicked-back hair nerd Adam Levine? We’ll take either! No matter what, we know that there will be awesome music. The Voice returns February 24.
