Mr.
Grey – the Oscars and The Razzies will see you!
Everyone’s
favorite S&M movie, “Fifty Shades Of Grey,” continues to polarize
with the film earning both Oscar love (well, at least in one category) and some
series digs from the Razzies.
On Thursday
morning, the film earned one nomination in the
Best Song Category for “Earned It” by The Weeknd. But on Wednesday, the same film received some love of another (and
not-so-great) variety with six Razzie Award nominations, including Worst Actor
for Jamie Dornan and Worst Picture – ouch, and not in a
Red Room sort of way!
“Fifty Shades” joins a long an illustrious list of films
who have received both Oscar nominations and Razzie noms.
Other recent movie standouts getting dual (dis)honors over the
years include: “The Lone Ranger,” “Snow White and the
Huntsmen,” ” Transformers: Dark of the Moon,”
“Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen,” “Norbit,” ” Superman
Returns,” ” Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the
Sith,” ” War of the Worlds,” ” Star Wars Episode
II: Attack of the Clones,” ” Pearl
Harbor,” and “Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace.”
