The “Fifty Shades of Grey” movie pulled the plug on the infamous tampon scene.
In the E L James book of the same name, there’s a much-talked about moment where billionaire Christian Grey wants to have sex with paramour Anastasia Steele, but she shies away because she’s on her period.
For those not familiar with the scene, or if you’re dying to know what happens, we’ll let our friends over at MTV.com enlighten you.
Unfortunately, or fortunately, the tampon-pulling scene will not be in the upcoming film adaptation, set to hit theaters on February 13.
In fact, the idea of including the scene in the movie wasn’t even on the table, according to director Sam Taylor-Johnson.
“It was never even discussed,” Sam told Variety.
As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, “Fifty Shades” star Jamie Dornan revealed the movie won’t include any “todger” (AKA penis) shots either.
No tampons and no todger? We don’t know what to think anymore.
