“Fifty Shades of Grey” has found its Anastasia Steele and Christian Grey.

A short while later, the author teased the Christian news, Tweeting, “So… Christian…”

She followed it up with the announcement regarding Charlie’s casting.

“The gorgeous and talented Charlie Hunnam will be Christian Grey in the film adaptation of Fifty Shades of Grey,” she Tweeted.

Dakota is the daughter of “Miami Vice” star Don Johnson and actress Melanie Griffith.

The 23-year-old previously appeared in “The Social Network,” and two producers of that film – Michael De Luca and Dana Brunetti — are producing “Fifty Shades of Grey.”

Charlie, 33, currently stars as Jackson “Jax” Teller in FX’s “Sons of Anarchy.”

As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, the screenplay for the “Fifty Shades of Grey” movie was adapted by Kelly Marcel, who wrote the Fox television series “Terra Nova.”

Sam Taylor-Johnson, who previously directed “Nowhere Boy,” is helming the film.

The movie will hit theaters on August 1, 2014.
