Flo Rida To Fans: Call Me

While some celebs are connecting with fans on social networking sites such as MySpace and Twitter, Flo Rida is going one better.

The “Right Round” rapper told CNN that he can be reached on those sites and more, but fans call also call him on his mobile phone, which is (305) 528-2786.

“Holler at your boy,” he said. “It’s all good. If they can go out and buy my albums, I can at least make the sacrifice to holler at a few people who call. A lot of times I’m busy so they’ll get my voicemail, and if I can speak to them if I have time, I always text back.”

And the hip-hop star, whose real name is Tramar Dillard, took a few calls during the segment, including one from a fan who forget his or her name.

“You’re on CNN live because you called my phone,” he said.

When reached by Access Hollywood on Friday, the voicemail inbox belonging to the given cell number was full.

He’s not the first rapper to give away his digits – Houston rapper Mike Jones gave away his number in the song “Back Then” in 2005.
