Former ‘Biggest Losers’ Marty & Amy Announce Pregnancy

Former “Biggest Loser” contestants Marty and Amy Wolff, who met during the third season of the NBC show and were married in March 2008, are now expecting their first child, People reports.

“After we got married, at a certain point, we let nature take its course,” Amy told the mag. “We are very excited!”

Amy is currently three months pregnant, and is being careful about diet and exercise.

“So many friends have had to battle weight gain during pregnancy,” she said. “They all have told me to watch out, it happens so quickly, and I’m like, ‘I know!’ I am cautious. I haven’t gained any weight yet. I feel like the luckiest pregnant girl ever.”

The couple has made weight loss a big part of their lives, and started a self-improvement center in Omaha, Nebraska, called Reality Wellness.

“We take a token of what we learned on ‘The Biggest Loser’ and applied it,” Amy added. “We’ve helped 250 people this past year lose 5,000 pounds!”

Being on the show not only helped Amy find her husband, but also prepared her for childbirth.

“Before going on ‘The Biggest Loser,’ I was a single career woman with no idea what my future would hold for me in two years,” she told People. “Having been on the show has prepared me for part of being pregnant.”
