Former ‘Prison Break’ Star Working On Plea Deal

BEVERLY HILLS (April 10, 2007) ? Former ?Prison Break? actor Lane Garrison?s arraignment on a felony charges of vehicular manslaughter & drunken driving was postponed earlier today. The court proceeding was postponed so that Garrison?s lawyer can continue hashing out a deal with city attorneys, according to City News Service.?We anticipate resolving (the charges) that day by a plea,” defense attorney Harland Braun said. Garrison?s charges stem from a December 2 incident where 17-year-old Vahagn Setian was killed when the Land Rover the actor was driving hit a tree. He had a blood-alcohol content of .20 percent during the crash according to the police. Currently out on bail, Braun previously told CNS, the actor is “going to accept responsibility for his conduct. The only question is what is that level of responsibility.?

Beverly Hills Superior Court Judge Elden S. Fox, who previously handled Winona Ryder?s shoplifting case and Courtney Love?s drugs charges is sitting on the bench for Garrison?s case. He agreed to postpone the arraignment hearing until May 21.
