Former Sexiest Man Alive Ben Affleck Thinks Channing Tatum Deserves The Title: He’s An ‘Extremely Sexy Man’

Ben Affleck was crowned People magazine’s Sexiest Man Alive back in 2002 – an honor bestowed on Channing Tatum for 2012 – and the “Argo” star thinks the title was definitely given to the right man.

“I think [Channing] is [deserving], and always has been,” Ben told Access Hollywood of the coveted title, at the GQ Men of the Year party in Los Angeles on Tuesday. “He’s a very good guy and an extremely, extremely sexy man.

“I mean, what else can you say? Have you seen ‘Magic Mike’? I think that said it all!” he added, with a laugh.

Both Ben and Channing were also included in GQ’s Men of the Year list, and Ben said he’s content with his cover photo for the men’s mag.

“I never really like pictures of myself,” he told Access regarding the cover. “But, you know, at least it’s not horribly embarrassing, which is what I’m always worried about.”
