Former Spice Girls star Melanie “Mel B” Brown is auctioning off a host of items for charity.
Mel announced on Perez Hilton’s gossip Web site that she is putting some of the items from her career as a Spice Girl, and her not-too-long-ago appearance on “Dancing With the Stars,” to raise funds for the needy.
“100 percent of what you bid on these clothes is going to two charities,” Mel said in a video clip posted on PerezHilton.com. “One is LA Children’s Hospital and the other one is Meals on Wheels so you get to help the young and the elderly.”
Among the many items Mel said she is auctioning via her own Web site, MelanieBrown.com, are Spice Girls tour costumes, personal items, “Dancing With the Stars” shoes and costumes from the “Spice World” movie.
