Former ‘Tudors’ Star Joins ‘Game Of Thrones’ Season 2

The “Game of Thrones” cast is growing for Season 2.

According to Entertainment Weekly, former “Tudors” star Natalie Dormer, who played Anne Boleyn, is joining “Thrones.”

The actress will play Margaery Tyrell, a woman who becomes powerful through marriage.

SPOILER ALERT: She becomes important in Season 2 through her marriage to Renly Baratheon, the younger brother of the late King Robert Baratheon.

Fans of Season 1 will remember Renly as a member of King Robert’s council and for his relations with the Knight of the Flowers, Loras Tyrell, coincidentally, the brother of Margaery.

As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, “Game of Thrones” begins filming it’s second season this summer.
