Friends Co-Creator: Reunion Is ‘Not Happening’

“Friends” fans might want to take a cue from Ross Geller (aka Ross, The Divorcer) and remove themselves from the idea of the gang ever reuniting at Central Perk.

Despite rampant rumors claiming a reunion project with Rachel, Monica, Phoebe, Ross, Chandler and Joey is in the works, the show’s co-creator, Marta Kauffman has squashed the idea.

“I’m going to clear this up—it’s not happening!” Marta told E! News on Tuesday night at the premiere of Jennifer Aniston’s latest project, “Call Me Crazy.”

Adding, “‘Friends’ was about that time in your life when your friends are your family and once you have a family, there’s no need anymore.”

Additionally, a source told E! the rumors of a reunion of the iconic TV series were “not true.”
