Friends, Family Honor Farrah Fawcett On Anniversary

Farrah Fawcett’s friends and family gathered on Friday to mark the first anniversary of the “Charlie’s Angels” star’s death.

According to Radar Online, her son, Redmond, was given a leave from his sober-living facility to honor his mother at the opening of an alternative treatment foundation named after her.

Tatum O’Neal, the daughter of Farrah’s longtime love Ryan O’Neal, rushed from Thursday night’s “Rescue Me” season premiere in New York to attend. Ryan and best friend, Alana Stewart, also honored the late actress today.

The actress died at 62 after a long battle with cancer, which she shared with the world in the documentary “Farrah’s Story.”

“After a long and brave battle with cancer, our beloved Farrah has passed away,” Ryan said in a statement to Access Hollywood at the time. “Although this is an extremely difficult time for her family and friends, we take comfort in the beautiful times that we shared with Farrah over the years and the knowledge that her life brought joy to so many people around the world.”
