‘Full House’ Spinoff To Star Candace Cameron Bure & Andrea Barber

TGIF came a day early this week!

“Full House” is making a comeback with a spinoff series, titled “Fuller House,” sources told TV Line.

Per the sources, Netflix is very close to ordering 13 episodes of the revival, which will star the eldest Tanner sister, D.J. Tanner (Candace Cameron Bure), and her best friend and neighbor, Kimmy Kibbler (Andrea Barber).

“I know John [Stamos], and Bob [Saget] and Dave [Coulier] did Jimmy Fallon, like a reunion skit on there, which was really funny,” Candace told TooFab.com in an interview published on Wednesday. “We’ve all kind of done little things here and there just poking fun or throwing back to ‘Full House’ which has been cool. If it’s a good opportunity or a good place to do that, I think we all would do that. I would do that and have fun with it!”

Since “Full House” wrapped its eighth and final season in 1995, Candace has remained busy acting in Hallmark Channel movies and competing on “Dancing with the Stars,” along with raising her three children with husband, Val Bure.

Meanwhile, Andrea has taken a long hiatus from Hollywood to focus on raising her family in Southern California.

The two women’s friendship has stood the test of time. Last weekend, they competed together in a Tough Mudder. Candace posted a photo on Thursday giving Andrea a piggyback ride during the race.

“Here’s 2 one of the best & longest friendships in T.V. history! D.J. & Kimmy Forever!! Last weekend’s #ToughMudder #ToughMothers #Ziploc #FullHouseFamily You’re my rockstar race partner @andreabarber,” she captioned the pic, which she shared on her Instagram account soon before news of the spinoff broke.

“Uncle” Jesse Katsopolis (John Stamos), Danny Tanner (Bob Saget) and Joey Gladstone (Dave Coulier) – who previously reunited for a 2014 Dannon Oikos yogurt Super Bowl ad – are also reportedly being considered to reprise their roles by making guest appearances. John will produce, along with the original “Full House” creator Jeff Franklin and executive producers Thomas L. Miller and Robert L. Boyett.

No word on if Jodie Sweetin or the Olsen twins would appear.

John recently visited the San Francisco house that was used as the exterior of the Tanner home. He posted a photo on Instagram from out front wearing a camera around his neck. Perhaps he was secretly scouting locations for “Fuller House” at the time.
