Things got grim (and deadly!) on the Season 5 finale of “Game of Thrones,” sending many fans into rage, sadness and confusion.

The “Mother’s Mercy” episode (read our blow by blow recap of Season 5, Episode 10!) marked the end of the road for a beloved character from Westeros, as Jon Snow was murdered by members of the Night’s Watch — and it drove fans to social media to vent their shocked reactions.
