Game Of Thrones’ Emilia Clarke To Star In Terminator Reboot

Emilia Clarke is set to take on another strong female role.

The actress, who plays Daenerys Targaryen on HBO’s “Game of Thrones,” will play Sarah Connor in Paramount’s upcoming “Terminator” reboot, according to Entertainment Weekly.

The role was originally played by Linda Hamilton in the first film, and later played by Emilia’s “GOT” co-star Lena Headey in Fox’s short-lived small screen version.

Jason Clarke (“Zero Dark Thirty,” “White House Down”) is in the running to play Sarah’s son, John Connor, in the new film, according to the website.

Alan Taylor, who directed “Thor: The Dark World,” will helm the film, which is set for theatrical release on July 1, 2015.
