Game Of Thrones Star Lena Headey Claims To Have Less Than $5 In Her Bank Account (Report)

On “Game of Thrones” it’s often said that “a Lannister always pays his [or her] debts,” but in real life that might not reportedly be the case for actress Lena Headey – who plays Cersei Lannister.

According to TMZ, the actress claimed in legal documents in divorce proceedings from husband Peter Loughran that she has “less than $5 in her bank account.”

The shocking financial admission reportedly surfaced after Loughran asked for half of the couple’s $46,000 tax refund from 2011.

The “Game of Thrones” star reportedly goes on to ask the judge for $6,000 from the refund to cover living expenses for her and the couple’s 2-year-old son. She reportedly states that she is living off of credit in the meantime.

The actress – who stars on one of TV’s most popular shows – reportedly goes on to say that she expects to receive income in the near future.

The judge reportedly denied both Loughran and Headey’s requests for access to the money from their tax return and it’s unclear how the money will be divided, according to the website.
