Gary Dourdan Pleads Guilty To Ecstasy, Cocaine Possession

Former “CSI” star Gary Dourdan pled guilty to counts of cocaine and Ecstasy possession on Wednesday, Access Hollywood has confirmed.

Dourdan had been charged with three counts of felony drug possession, stemming from his April 28 arrest in Palm Springs, Calif., where a patrol officer allegedly found the actor asleep behind the wheel of his car, which was parked facing the wrong way on the side of the road.

A felony charge of heroin possession was dismissed against Dourdan on Wednesday.

As a result of his plea to the cocaine and Ecstasy possession charges, the 41-year-old actor must complete a drug rehab program.

Following the court hearing, an attorney for Dourdan released the following statement to Access Hollywood:

“As a result of today’s proceedings, Gary will be attending diversion classes. Obviously, Gary is embarrassed by what has happened, and he’s grateful to the Court for its understanding. Gary looks forward to putting this behind him and getting back to work.”

If there are no further infractions within the next 18 months, the charges will be dismissed.

As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, Dourdan left “CSI” at the end of this season and will not return to the series in the fall.
