George Clooney is rubbing elbows with the British high class – and having drinks – in the new teaser for a special mini-episode of “Downton Abbey.”
The actor makes a very brief appearance in a clip for ITV’s Text Santa telethon episode.
Lady Cora (Elizabeth McGovern) approaches someone that could easily be confused for Lord Grantham and calls him “dearest.”

The man appears to be talking to Lady Rose (Lily James), but when he turns around it’s not Lord Grantham, but George in a three-piece- suit holding a festive drink with a blue umbrella in it.
Details on what role the actor is playing on the popular British series are unknown.
The “Downton Abbey” charity special will air in Britain on ITV at 8 PM on December 19.
