George Lopez Waxes About Sandra Bullock & Lindsay Lohan

George Lopez has become immortalized in wax.

The comedian and late-night host unveiled his wax figure at Madame Tussauds museum on Thursday, an honor he called “amazing.”

“To be in Madame Tussauds is an honor that not only has to come from the museum but has to come from the fans,” he told Access Hollywood. “It’s amazing. I’m just some kid from San Fernando.”

Asked about his longtime friend Sandra Bullock’s public marital issues, the comic turned serious.

“I would only say that I wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t for Sandra,” he said. “She’s an amazing person and we all love her and support her.”

As for his recent Twitter rivalry with Lindsay Lohan, which the pair will hash out offline — and in front of the cameras — on “Lopez Tonight” on Tuesday, he said it could’ve been worse.

“I believe it is probably the most polite Twitter rivalry that you’ll ever see,” he said of an argument stemming from jokes he made about pictures of Lindsay’s white-powdered feet from over the weekend. “The fact that on Twitter, someone had a rivalry and didn’t use any profanity…

“I think Lindsay’s great,” he continued. “I’ve met her before.. As a comic, it is satire and it is humor. I’m not happy that she was unhappy with it and I’d like to make her happy, and that’s what I’m trying to do.”

When Access asked if George would be grilling the star over her shoe incident, he’d said he wasn’t sure yet – but he added he wouldn’t try to shame her.

“As I said in my Twitter, respectfully,” he said.
