Rivera’s daughter, Simone, is safe after surviving Friday’s devastating terror
attacks in Paris.

The Fox News
contributor revealed that Simone was inside a Paris stadium as multiple acts of
violence unfolded nearby and throughout the city, killing more than 100 people.
Fighting
back tears, Rivera recounted Simone’s harrowing ordeal on air, telling network
colleague Shepard Smith that the 21-year-old said she “heard three
explosions” during the soccer match she was attending.

Simone is
studying abroad in the French capital and went to the game with her best
friend, Rivera said. President Francois Hollande was also in the stands and
evacuated before declaring a state of emergency.
Rivera held
up a photo of Simone during his interview and said that he and his family had been planning to visit her in Paris for the Thanksgiving holiday.
