Gerard Butler is on the hunt – and he’s going after Jennifer Aniston.
The duo is in talks to star in a new comedy together, according to Variety.
The as-of-yet untitled project would find Butler as a bounty hunter hired to track down his ex-wife (Aniston) after she skips bail.
Andy Tennant (“Hitch;” “Fool’s Gold”) will direct the film.
Production is slated to begin in May 2009.
Aniston will next be seen on the big screen in the comedy “Marley & Me,” opposite Owen Wilson, which opens Christmas Day.
She also has completed three films, all currently awaiting release – the romantic comedy “He’s Just Not That Into You;” the drama “Traveling” alongside Aaron Eckhart; and “Management,” a dramedy co-starring Steve Zahn and Woody Harrelson.
Butler, who shot to superstardom in “300,” will star in the upcoming Sci-Fi thriller “Game,” as well as the romantic comedy “The Ugly Truth” opposite Katherine Heigl.
