Get The Look: Keira Knightley

In today’s Glam Slam feature: Keira Knightley is a perfect example of the phrase “English Rose.” She’s blessed with a complexion that always looks gorgeous and luminous and her rosy glow was on full display at the Tribeca Film Festival screening of her film “Begin Again.”

Here’s how she achieved that flawless look…

WHO: Chanel Celebrity Makeup Artist Kate Lee (Using all Chanel products)

Inspiration: Keira wore an amazing Chanel Couture pastel blue and green embellished dress. We decided for the makeup look that we would go for something neutral and natural, but rich in texture.

Face: I started out prepping the skin with Hydra Beauty Serum, then added a thin layer of Le Blanc Light Revealing Brightening Makeup Base SPF 30 as a luminescent primer. I then applied Hydra Beauty Nourishing Lip Care to condition the lip.

Foundation: Using only where needed, I used Perfection Lumiere Velvet Smooth-Effect Makeup Broad Spectrum SPF 15 Sunscreen to uniform and perfect the complexion.

Eyes: The eyes were defined with the warm purple in the Lumieres Facettes Quadra Eyeshadow in Quadrille, in the outer socket and lower lash line. Next, I used Illusion D’Ombre Long Wear Luminous Eyeshadow in New Moon to feather in a shimmer and melt away the edges of the socket. I love this color!

Mascara: Lashes were curled with the Precision Eyelash Curler, and given a coat of Inimitable Waterproof Mascara in Noir on the top and bottom lashes.

Cheeks: On the cheeks I used Le Blush Creme de Chanel in my favorite color, Cheeky!

Lips: The look lip was Rouge Coco Shine Hydrating Sheer Lipshine in Scenario, which is the most divine mulberry stain. I gently dabbed the colour on in a very natural way where the lips looked bitten. Before she walked out, I added just a touch of Les Beiges Healthy Glow Sheer Colour SPF 15 in No.10 to diffuse light and leave Keira camera ready for the TriBeCa red carpet.
