Gibson/Grigorieva Latest: Oksana In Court & Mel’s Estranged Wife To Be Questioned?

The Mel Gibson/Oksana Grigorieva saga continued to make headlines on Wednesday with a slew of new developments emerging in the former couple’s ongoing alleged domestic violence drama.

Grigorieva appeared in court on Wednesday for a custody hearing over the former couple’s infant daughter, Lucia.

According to the Associated Press, a summary posted outside the courtroom stated that attorneys would argue a motion to seize Lucia’s passport. Lawyers for Gibson and Grigorieva would not comment on the case when contacted by the AP. Gibson was not present at the closed-door hearing on Wednesday.

Radar reported on Wednesday that Grigorieva’s lawyers want to question Gibson’s estranged wife Robyn following her July statement to the judge in Gibson and Grigorieva’s custody hearing which read: “Mel never engaged in any physical abuse of any kind toward me before, during or after our marriage.”

A Radar source claimed that Grigorieva’s lawyers want to investigate an alleged confrontation between the former couple.

“Mel [said] several times how he threw a TV into her (Robyn) once when they were arguing,” a Radar source claimed. “Thank God he missed and the TV fell out a second story window.”

Also on Wednesday, TMZ reported that the Los Angeles County District Attorney will handle Gibson and Grigorieva’s domestic violence investigation and the Russian singer’s extortion probe as a “package deal.” The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department is reportedly still “a ways away” from handing over the extortion case to the DA’s office, TMZ reported.

A rep for Gibson had no comment to Access Hollywood on the situation.
