Girl Meets World’s Danielle Fishel Shares Wedding Plans, Says Ben Savage Is Her ‘First Husband’

She may already be married To Ben Savage on the small screen, but Danielle Fishel is preparing to take her real-life trip down the aisle!

The “Girl Meets World” star will soon marry fiance Tim Belusko in a large ceremony set to take place prior to filming the new Disney Channel show.

“Midnight blue is my main color,” she told Us Weekly. “I think it’s perfect for a this-time-of-year wedding.”

The 32-year-old actress said her wedding will be “kind of big, like 250 people.”

“It’s going to be really fun!” she said. “I’m really excited about it.”

The soon-to-be spouses will honeymoon in Maui (ahead of the actress’ return to reprise her role as Topanga Lawrence – now Matthews).

Danielle and Tim met after she decided to go college at the age of 27.

In a December 2012 blog post about her graduation, she revealed she was scared of going back to school and being “the old lady in class,” but finally decided to take the leap.

“Yes, I was sometimes the oldest person in class, I was whispered about many times, and I did forget how to do a few math equations,” she wrote at the time. “But I persevered and sometimes I wasn’t the oldest person in class, some of the whisperers became good friends, and I did so well in math, I even became a tutor. And that is how I met my fiance. :)”

Despite her impending wedding to Tim, the actress joked she’ll always think of her “Boy Meets World” beau, Ben, as her “first husband.”

“Any time I’m around Ben, I feel like I’m at my most comfortable because we’ve been together for 20 years, so it’s been nice to be back together,” she said, of her former “Boy Meets World” beau.

“Girl Meets World” will air in 2014 on The Disney Channel.
