Heavy Metals: Metallic details are a huge trend this season as well as an easy way to punch up any look. Slip on a pair of the popular silver or gold Birkenstock-spirited slides to add a sporty and modern appeal to your summer look.
Your Boyfriend’s Back: Ditch the hot pants and go for something much more cool and slouchy. Boyfriend shorts are coming in edgy acid washes and pretty floral prints that anchor basic t-shirts and tanks nicely.
Sunny Days: Sunglasses are a no brainer during a sweltering backyard BBQ. Wear a pair of bold and colorful frames in the vibrant green, blue and red hues that are making a splash this season. (Gwen Stefani is a fan of this look and has worn a rainbow of colored sunnies!)

Overall Chic: Don’t fear the overall trend! Overalls are back and short or long, they’re a fun piece to pair with a tank top or over a bathing suit as a more structured coverup. Try them in white denim for a fresh and summery twist on a classic.
