Glam Slam: ‘Dancing’ Style Stars

Now that we’ve had time to digest the moves on the dance floor, get ready to dissect the fashion. The outfits are always a highlight for me, you just never know how outrageous (and revealing!) they are going to get! How the wardrobe department does it week after week, season after season is beyond me – kudos to ‘DWTS’ costume designer Randall Christensen!

The GLAM SLAM TEAM scored the celeb contestants on their outfits and here is how the ladies rank… with a perfect 10 from each style “judge” being the highest score.

NICOLE SCHERZINGER
SCORE: 8.8
She was the best dancer and also scored well in the wardrobe department with her subdued white gown with embellished bodice. Classy all the way. Hey – I never thought I would say that about a ballroom dance outfit! Selin agreed saying, “White looks AWESOME on her, love the beaded top and flowy skirt. She looks chic, simple and beautiful.” “It was nice to see her anti-Pussycat side,” says Felidette.

PAMELA ANDERSON
SCORE: 7.6
Her hot pink mini was “Pure Pam” getting good marks from our team. “Skimpy and pink, which is what I expected and wanted to see! Can’t wait to see how much skimpier she goes!” says Sharon. But not everyone is quite so eager for her to bare more. Selin says, “You are off ‘Baywatch’. This is ‘DWTS’. Time to start wearing dresses.”

ERIN ANDREWS
SCORE: 6.6
Her fringy, yellow one shouldered dress scored well even though it garnered a few comparisons to perhaps the most famous feathered star around. “The ruffles make her look like Big Bird,” according to Felidette. Anthony loved it though, saying she “channels a Vegas showgirl.”

NIECY NASH
SCORE: 6.6
“Hot in a Halter,” raves Anthony of Niecy, who ties with Erin. Her short sequined gold mini got mostly positive remarks with Akiva saying she was “sexy, sassy and revealed just enough skin and was not afraid to show her curves.” “She wanted to show off her “jiggly parts” and she did!,” Sharon says.

KATE GOSSELIN
SCORE: 5.8
Kate told us she wasn’t going to show too much skin and she stuck to her guns with her long, sparkly pink dress, which Akiva compared to “Pepto Bismol.” “Not so pretty in pink,” Susan says, adding, “Mama’s got a great bod… show it off!!!!” Jeneine says her husband asked “Why does she have so much clothes on?”

SHANNEN DOHERTY
SCORE: 4.3
Her dance was the emotional highlight of the night, but her white, grey and black multi-tonal ensemble was “drab” and we weren’t fans of her lace gloves. Susan called it “a Morticia mess,” while Joe said, “Oh, Shannen, where art thou, Cruella de Vil?”
