Glam Slam: How To Wear Leopard

One of the biggest trends this Fall also happens to be one of my all time faves, leopard!

You can go wild with leopard, or more subtle, the choice is yours. I also love leopard because it’s a versatile print that can be found in every price range.

“We love leopard at Ann Taylor,” says the company’s Style Director, Kristin Rawson. “We have used the iconic print at the brand throughout the decades. Here are a few tips for how to add a ‘touch of leopard’ to your look.”

1. LEOPARD FOR THE LADY
My favorite way to wear leopard is the classic Hollywood movie star way. Pair a classic leopard pencil skirt with a neutral colored silk blouse, the perfect pump in patent leather and add a pearl stud earring.

2. THE ESSENTIAL SPLASH OF LEOPARD
A splash of leopard livens up every outfit… A great basic outfit like jeans, a riding boot and a grey cashmere sweater looks amazing with an oversized leopard print scarf. This is a great daytime weekend look.

3. CHANNELING KATE MOSS WITH A LEOPARD PRINT COAT
Kate inspires us all with her perfect wardrobe. A leopard lined coat or leopard print coat is a fantastic investment piece for Winter. Pair it with a little black dress and black opaque tights for that very chic Kate look.

4. THE LEOPARD PRINT SHEATH DRESS
A leopard print dress that has darker tones is subtle and glamorous. This item speaks for itself, so it’s essential to match with simple accessories- a little black clutch, a black bootie or a basic pump. Add gold or silver accessories of your preference.

5. A TOUCH OF FUN WITH LEOPARD ACCESSORIES
Add a touch of leopard to your outfit with accessories. A leopard clutch or shoes are two of my wardrobe faves! Always relevant, they can live in your closet forever. Just be sure not to mix with other bold prints unless you have a fantastic creative eye.
