My favorite look of last night’s SAG Awards?
Jennifer Lawrence’s navy strapless column gown by Christian Dior, which she paired with understated Chopard jewels.
“It’s always a real effort,” she told us of the getting ready process. “There was like 25 people in my house. It’s always an effort.”
And that effort paid off.
I loved the clean lines and sleek look of her gown. Nothing too overdone or fussy. Perfect for a 22-year-old. Even more impressive when you consider that she’s got walking pneumonia!
Of course, everyone today is talking about the moment when she got up to accept her Best Female Actor Award when many thought her gown ripped. It didn’t rip. She just lifted it so she wouldn’t step on it and revealed the sheer lining underneath.
I don’t think that should take away from a gorgeous gown and another flawless look from the star. Her red Golden Globes Dior gown was stunning and I can’t wait to see what she does for the Oscars.
