Glam Slam: Makeup Mondays — Glam Ladies Of Summer

Never a dull moment — Hollywood’s leading ladies are providing us with plenty of beauty inspiration this summer.

Whether you’re a blonde, brunette or a redhead, steal these gorgeous ideas from the star-packed red carpet at the Critics’ Choice Awards.

THE RED HEAD
Who: Julianne Moore
By: Makeup Artist Pati Dubroff
Beauty Inspiration: “Cherry eyes and lips. This is a ‘grown up’ way to wear the bright lip trend.”

Get The Look:
“Instead of forgoing all other color on face, I used a cherry color from the Tom Ford Eye Color Quad in Burnished Amber to balance the lip. The effect is more smoldering than the usual bright lip pale eye story.

The lip has a stained base, Josie Maran Magic Marker Lip Stain in Waltz, with a shine on top, NARS Mexican Rose Velvet. The finishing touch is a brow that was left alone and a coat of purples mascara – YSL Volume Effet Faux Cils Mascara in Fascinating Violet – on top of YSL Volume Effet Faux Cils Mascara in High Density Black.”

THE BLONDE
Who: Julie Bowen
By: Makeup Artist Fiona Styles
Beauty Inspiration: “Julie’s Marchesa dress was steely grey, so I used plums and a touch of grey on Julie’s eyes.”

Get The Look:
“I prepped Julie’s skin with Yon-Ka Pamplemousse Moisturizer, and as a base used Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation in #7. On her eyes I used Laura Mercier Caviar Eye Stick in Smoke and Plum and NARS Duo Eyeshadow in Brousse and Habanera. The plum makes her hazel eyes really vibrant. Instead of using blush, I just used bronzer, DiorSkin Nude in Amber, and a highlighter along her cheekbones.

I applied Maybelline Lash Discovery Mascara to her lashes, and finished the lip with Cle de Peau Lipstick in #201.”

THE BRUNETTE
Who: Ginnifer Goodwin
By: Makeup Artist Molly R. Stern
Beauty Inspiration: “Ginnifer Goodwin, always dressed and groomed to perfection, allowed me to play off her bright blue polish and gorgeous Victor and Rolf dress with a pink shadow and super nude lip.”

Get The Look:
“I first prepped her skin with a misting of Jurlique Rose Water Spray and a light massage of By Terry Serum de Rose. Next I based her skin with Chantecaille Future Skin Foundation in Porcelain with a dust of Jurlique Citrus Loose Powder to control shine.
For her cheeks, I pressed in some Make Up Forever HD Cream Microfinition Blush in #12.
On Ginnifer’s eyes, I used Laura Mercier Cream Blush in Oleander as eye base with the pink in NARS Triple Compact in Douce France, with YSL Eyeliner Effet Faux Cils in Bronze Black at the lash line. Just under the eye I applied Victoria Secret Hyper Gloss Eye Shimmer in Night Lights.

Finally, Bobbi Brown Extreme Party Mascara in Black on the lashes. Finished off with a nude lipstick, Hourglass Femme Rouge Velvet Crème Lipstick in Fable, with Tarte Lip Surgence Natural Lip Pint in Peaceful over top.
