Glam Slam: Makeup Mondays — Glee Glamour!

Lea Michele owns it again!

The fashionista rarely makes a red carpet misstep and she looked radiant at the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences’ Screening of “Glee,” thanks to makeup artist Melanie Inglessis.

“We had very little time to do this look because Lea was filming that day up until the last minute, so I worked fast and with my favorite product to do a smokey eye: a fat khol pencil, which is great for blending and smudging thanks to a more creamy texture.”

BEAUTY INSPIRATION:
“I wanted her to look fresh and fun to reflect the white beaded mini dress she was wearing.”

HOW TO:
“I started with Laura Mercier Caviar Stick Eye Colour in Smoke, a charcoal grey. I applied it like a thick liner, really near the lash line. It doesn’t have to be perfect, because I am blending it with a cream shadow. I chose Bobbi Brown Long Wear Cream Shadow in Smokey Topaz, a shimmering pewter. I blended it with a little dome brush to create a soft smoky eye. I kept the color below the crease to keep it fun and light…and I also kept the inner corner of her eye bright. The same applies for the bottom.

I then curled Lea’s amazing long lashes and applied a coat of LANCOME Hypnose Doll Lashes Mascara in So Black.

Then, some light foundation and a peachy cream color on the apple of her cheeks.

I used Bobbi Brown Pot Rouge for Lips and Cheeks cream in Pale Pink on her lip, which is a beautiful natural color with a hint of pink. Voila!”
