It’s not even August, but some fashion folks are already eyeing what will be hot for fall. Denim is always in style and let’s get real, jeans are many gals’ favorite thing to wear. People Style Watch has five denim trends to be on the lookout for this season.
Coated:
Stars, like Hayden Panettiere, have been spotted in glossy jeans. The shiny finish gives denim a leather-like sheen. “This is a great trend to dress up or down,” says Kate Dimmock, Fashion Director, People Style Watch, “With a simple white T-shirt, you can dress them down, or wear a fitted top and blazer for a night out.”
Moto:
Zippers and stand-out stitching gives this denim style a cool, rock n’ roll vibe. “This trend has a bit of edginess with zipper, hardware and lots of black, but you can balance out the toughness with a silky top and heels,” adds Kate.
Two-toned:
Update your look with two-toned denim. These color-blocked jeans are a bold fashion choice and look best worn with a simple tee and accessories.
Camo:
The military-inspired print has been spotted on fashion-forward celebs, like Sarah Jessica Parker and Gwen Stefani. “We are loving camo printed jeans. It’s a fun twist for fall, and paired with a motorcycle boot and pea coat, it can still look polished,” explains Kate.
Prints:
From pretty florals to bold plaids, printed jeans are in this fall. The print adds a “wow” factor to other-wise simple skinnies. Printed jeans can be worn casually during the day or easily dressed up for night with an elegant top and heels.
