Glam Slam: The Friday Five - Stylish Stars of the Week

The weekend is here and for some warm weather style inspiration, check out Kerry Washington and some other lovely ladies from the week in their summer whites and lights!

Stealing a page from Olivia Pope’s mostly white wardrobe on “Scandal,” the show’s star Kerry Washington looks so pretty in a Summery Giambattista Valli dress with white Christian Louboutin pumps and a Nancy Gonzalez clutch at Wednesday night’s Sundance Institute Benefit in Los Angeles. Gorgeous, as always.
TAKE AWAY TIP: Don’t be afraid of a single head-to-toe hue. Kerry proves that her white dress/bag/shoes combo is anything but “matchy-matchy.”

After making her big public appearance in black YSL, Angie wowed again (on her 38th birthday no less!) in a strapless white peplum dress by Ralph & Russo, which she paired with white pumps at the Berlin premiere of Brad’s movie, World War Z. My favorite part of the dress? The unique gold belt, which really defined her waist, creating a beautiful, modern silhouette.
TAKE AWAY TIP: Always go for one stand-out detail, like Angie’s belt.

Another country music award show, another stellar red carpet fashion moment for Taylor. She rocked her signature ultra-feminine look at this week’s CMT’s…this time wearing an Elie Saab vanilla strapless silk georgette embroidered dress with an uneven hem detail from the Spring/Summer 2013 Ready-to-Wear collection. Girly and sweet.
TAKE AWAY TIP: Know what works for you and stick with it.

Wow! Alessandra truly looks like an angel, although a super sexy one, in this stunning white ensemble- a single shoulder KaufmanFranco top with a matching white maxi skirt. She completed the look with Vhernier Jewelry, simple hair and makeup.
TAKE AWAY TIP: If you’ve got it, don’t be afraid to flaunt it.

Talk about grace under pressure! The Olympic skier made headlines for being drug tested earlier this week at the CFDA Fashion Awards. Cynthia Rowley, who designed her beautiful white gown with metallic detailing at the waist, waited outside the bathroom!
TAKE AWAY TIP: Take basic white up a notch with metallic accents.
