‘Glee’ Across The Pond! Tour Headed To Europe Next Summer

Are you ready to Gleek out, European fans? The FOX hit show, “Glee,” has announced they will be touring Europe in summer 2011.

Your favorite “Glee” stars — Lea Michele (Rachel), Cory Monteith (Finn), Amber Riley (Mercedes), Chris Colfer (Kurt), Kevin McHale (Artie), Jenna Ushkowitz (Tina), Mark Salling (Puck), Dianna Agron (Quinn), Naya Rivera (Santana), Heather Morris (Brittany), and Harry Shum, Jr. (Mike) — will all perform in an all new singing and dancing celebration.

In addition to the founding cast mates, “Glee” newcomers Chord Overstreet (Sam) and Darren Criss (Blaine) are joining the tour.

The exclusive engagement, “Glee Live! In Concert!,” is being described as a unique concert experience that will include live performances of some of the show’s most memorable musical numbers from seasons one and two including “Empire State of Mind,” “Toxic,” “My Life Would Suck Without You,” “It’s My Life,” and the show’s anthem, “Don’t Stop Believin’.”

Last year’s sold-out tour left fans craving more from the Emmy and Golden Globe winning show — and series creator Ryan Murphy is ready to give the fans what they want.

“We had such a great time putting together last year’s shows and the response from the fans was incredible. People around the world want to see our cast live and in person, so this European tour is our way of thanking them for the unbelievable way they’ve embraced our little show. And for everyone in America who has asked if we’ll be back to a city near them this summer, stay tuned. We’ll have some exciting news very soon,” said Murphy.

The tour is set to start in Manchester, England on June 22, 2011 and travel to London, England for June 25 and 26 performances and end in Dublin, Ireland with shows on July 2 and 3.

Tickets go on sale to the general public on November 26.

In addition to the upcoming European tour, “Glee” has been picked up through its third season.
