“Glee” star Jane Lynch is hearing wedding bells – and they’re not coming from the McKinley High School choir room.
The 49-year-old actress is engaged to longtime girlfriend Lara Embry, her rep confirmed to Access Hollywood.
“Yes, it’s true. Jane and Lara are thrilled to be engaged,” the rep told Access.
The news comes four months after a previous report by the New York Times’ Carpetbagger blog, which claimed Jane and Lara were set to tie the knot in May.
However, her rep shot down the report at the time, telling Access that “Jane is currently in a relationship and there is no related news to that relationship.”
As for Jane’s “Glee” character Sue Sylvester – she’s also got a special woman entering her life on the show.
At a “Glee” event on Saturday night at The Grove in LA, Jane said she taped her own musical number – “Let’s Get Physical” – with Olivia Newton John herself.
As previously reported, she’ll also find a new on-screen adversary in fellow funnywoman Molly Shannon, who will play Brenda Castle – and aging astronomy teach, badminton coach and arch enemy of Sue.
New episodes of “Glee” debut on Tuesday night on FOX.
