Grammys 2015: 5 Possible OMG Moments For Music’s Biggest Night

The Grammy Awards are just a few days away and in addition to moving speeches and stellar performances, the night is shaping up to be a possible treasure of GIF/meme-worthy moments!

AccessHollywood.com takes a look something things we really hope go down.

Lady Gaga returns to the Grammys red carpet

A Gaga-less red carpet is never a good thing, so our inner Little Monster squealed with joy hearing that Mother Monster will be stepping out for the big night. Will she slay the carpet with something outlandish (like possibly hatching herself from another egg or a constellation-inspired gown) or go for a more demure, I’m-here-with-Tony Bennet look? Either way, we’re shaking in our now-dehydrated, homemade meat dress just thinking about it. Speaking of meat, we’re also hoping to see Taylor Kinney on Gaga’s arm come Sunday night.

A Petty Surprise?

Sam Smith and Mary J. Blige are slated to perform together and wouldn’t it be such a sweet treat if Tom Petty (who was more than cool about Sam’s “Stay With Me” sounding a lot like his “I Won’t Back Down”) joined Sam and Mary for their performance. And since we’re speaking of Sam, will 2015 be the year of Smith with a major cleanup for the British singer in his categories?

Beyonce will sing, and we will listen

A Grammys with Beyonce in attendance and not performing?! This was a dire thought that crossed our mind just days ago, but Common told Rolling Stone that Bey is singing the gospel standard “Take My Hand, Precious Lord.” Queen B will honor us with her vocals prior to Common and John Legend performing “Glory.” Consider us more than interested!

RiRi, Kanye & McCartney

Anytime two music powerhouses plus an icon take the stage, it’s bound to create more than a few OMG moments. The trio is slated to perform Rihanna’s “FourFiveSeconds” but we’re hoping there’s a mashup with a Kanye and Paul song mixed in!

Madonna, Ed Sheeran, Hozier & More!

Madonna’s performance (when is she ever not an OMG moment?), Ed Sheeran, John Mayer, Herbie Hancock and Questlove (quite the quartet!) taking the stage together, and Hozier and Annie Lennox dueting is bound to have people talking, Tweeting and singing along.
