‘Grey’s Anatomy’ Star Eric Dane In Rehab For Pain Medication Treatment

“Grey’s Anatomy” star Eric Dane has checked into rehab, Access Hollywood has confirmed.

“Actor Eric Dane voluntarily checked himself into a treatment facility to help him get off of pain medication that he was prescribed for a sports injury that he suffered over the recent hiatus,” a rep for the actor said in a statement to Access on Wednesday.

Despite his rehab stint, the 38-year-old, who plays Dr. Mark “McSteamy” Sloan on the ABC drama, is expected back at work on his hit series.

“He reports back to work this week. Business as usual,” the statement continued.

As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, the actor and wife Rebecca Gayheart announced earlier this month that they are expecting their second child.

The couple – who wed in 2004 – already have a 1-year-old daughter, Billie Beatrice, together.
