The first blockbuster of the summer, Spider-Man 3 swings its way into theatres this weekend with the triple Guy Candy threat of stars Tobey Maguire, James Franco and Topher Grace.
Lanky, blue eyed Topher Grace is the newest member of the series, joining as the aggressive but thoroughly charming Eddie Brock, Peter Parkers journalistic nemesis.
Though its a cruel twist of fate for hero Parker that finds Brock transforming into the evil Venom, that transformation is nothing but nice for Guy Candy watchers. Once the usually skinny star is consumed by the alien symbiote he turns into one hulking specimen of a Spider-Man clone complete with rippling muscles and the kind of moves that would make any girl swoon, even if he is the baddie.
And good news: off screen, the former That 㣪s Show star is single.
Also joining the available club is the gorgeous, James Dean-esque super stud James Franco.
Franco (and his impeccable bone structure) returns as the brooding, sensitive soul Harry, who turns into the New Goblin to avenge his fathers death. His character is deep and dark as poor Harry struggles over his feelings for his father and his best friend Peter Parker, whose alter ego Spider-Man, is being held responsible by Harry for ending the original Goblins life.
As it turns out, Franco is just as soulful off screen. Recent reports have caught the actor admitting to putting pen to paper, preparing a novel as part of his honors degree at Southern California university UCLA.
You cant mention Spider-Man, though with out pointing out its main star, the boyishly good-looking Tobey Maguire.
The former party bud of Leonardo DiCaprio turned doting dad again dons the skintight suit as everyones favorite everyman turned super hero. The blue eyed babe once again brings to life nice guy Peter Parker and believably shows why despite being all the qualities that keep him from hanging out with the cool crowd, still gets him the girl.
