Gwen Stefani Set To Top Billboard 200 Chart For First Time

Gwen Stefani is on pace to top the Billboard 200 album
charts this week, according to industry forecasts.

Gwen’s third solo album “This Is What the Truth Feels
Like” is expected to sell 80,000 copies this week — enough to snag the top
spot. While her band No Doubt had a No. 1 album in the 1990s with “Tragic
Kingdom,” this would be the first time Stefani tops the album charts as a solo
act.

Gwen’s other two solo albums — 2006’s “The Sweet Escape”
and 2004’s “Love. Angel. Music. Baby”— peaked at No. 3 and No. 5, respectively.

Stefani, who is a coach on “The Voice” alongside current
boyfriend Blake Shelton, wrote and recorded her latest album following her
divorce from fellow rocker Gavin Rossdale last year.

Also heading for a top 10 chart debut is  Jordan Smith,
last season’s winner of “The Voice.” His first album “Something Beautiful” is
expected to sell around 50,000 units which could land him in the top five.
