Gwyneth Paltrow Reveals Miscarriage: ‘I Nearly Died’

Gwyneth Paltrow has revealed some heartbreaking personal news about someone she has been “missing.”

The 40-year-old actress, who is a mother of two children with Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, has opened up about a recent miscarriage.

“My children ask me to have a baby all the time. And you never know, I could squeeze one more in,” mom to Apple, 8, and Moses, 6, told the UK’s Daily Mail in Sunday’s You magazine. “I am missing my third. I’m thinking about it.”

The miscarriage caused the Oscar-winner to rethink her plans of expanding her family with a third child.

“I had a really bad experience when I was pregnant with my third. It didn’t work out and I nearly died. So I am like, ‘Are we good here, or should we go back and try again?’” she explained.

The actress credits her rocker husband, 36, for standing beside her during life’s tough choices.

“We are committed co-parents, we make all the decisions together and lean on each other for support,” she told the mag. “[Chris] is so good to the children and to know that you had kids with such a good man is a real weight off you.”

Adding, “Regardless of what happens in our marriage, I chose the best father.”
