Halle Berry: ‘I Feel More Sexy Now Than Ever!’

Last month Halle Berry broke her pregnancy news to Access Hollywood’s Nancy O’Dell. Keeping her pregnancy a secret though, wasn’t very easy for Halle as Nancy recently found out.

Like most moms-to-be, the star of “Things We Lost In The Fire,” had to keep
her lips sealed until she felt it was the right time to make the big
announcement.

“Nobody knew,” Halle told Access. “Not even my family.”

Halle’s e-mail to Nancy last month confirmed the mommy-to-be’s wonderful
news around the world and headlines followed. In our interview, Halle dropped
another headline-grabber – for the first time in her 41 years on earth, Halle
feels she is at her sexiest.

“I was telling somebody this yesterday in an interview and they thought I
was just full of sh**, but . . . I feel more sexy now than I’ve ever felt –
really, truly, sexy. I put on a great dress and sometimes I’m like, ‘OK! I
don’t look so bad,’ but I never felt sexy in the way I feel sexy now.”

Halle sure looked sexy at Saturday’s New York City premiere of “Things We
Lost In The Fire.”

Halle said it took 7 or 8 months of trying to get pregnant before getting
the results that she dreamed about. She confirmed to Nancy that she took many,
many pregnancy tests before the results came up positive.

“Maybe it wasn’t 35 [tests]— you say a joke and then it like, follows you
forever, but [I did take] a lot,” Halle said.

Halle saved the one test that came out positive.

“I got rid of the negative ones,” she told Nancy. “I
thought, ‘I’m not going to keep these any more. This might be negative, bad
energy.’ Now I just have the one positive one.”

Speaking of good energy, it was Alexis Llewellyn, the actress who plays Halle’s daughter in “Things We Lost . . .” who was first to congratulate her on-screen mom.

“She was the first person to e-mail me once, with your help, I announced that I was pregnant,” Halle told Nancy. “She was the first one to e-mail me and congratulate me actually.”

Halle and boyfriend Gabriel Aubry are determined to keep the sex of their baby a secret.

“It’s going to totally challenge my entire family and all my friends, but I really love waking up and thinking of a girl and then fantasizing about a boy,” she said. “This is such a magical time and I may only go through this once . . . so I’m approaching it as, ‘in case this never happens again.’”

Halle plans to try again for another child immediately.

“I think I have to,” she told Nancy. “Based on my age, I think we’d have to really try again . . . We always talked about having two children. Whether or not we’ll actually make that happen is left to be seen, but that would be our intent. That’s for sure.”
